Floora: PCOS Pal is a lifestyle support application designed to help users manage PCOS through food scanning, cycle tracking, nutrition insights, and personalized daily routines. The app does not require account registration.

HealthKit data

If you choose to connect Apple HealthKit, Floora may access selected health-related data such as activity or movement metrics.

  • HealthKit data is accessed only with your explicit permission.
  • It is used locally within the app to support tracking features.
  • It is not used for advertising or profiling.
  • It is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in your device settings.

AI Food Scanner

Floora includes an AI-powered food scanning feature based on Google Gemini. When you use the scanner, inputs such as food images or text descriptions may be processed by this model to generate nutritional and lifestyle-related insights.

  • The system does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • AI responses may be inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Users should not rely solely on AI outputs for health decisions.

Third-Party Services

Google Gemini

Used for AI-based food scanning and interpretation.

Apple In-App Purchase and StoreKit

Payments and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not collect or store payment details. We only receive subscription status information required to unlock premium features.

Apple HealthKit

Used only if you explicitly enable integration. Data is processed locally and not used for marketing or advertising.

Data Storage and Retention

Floora is designed with a privacy-first and local-first architecture. Wherever possible, your data is stored directly on your device rather than on our servers.

If you enable iCloud sync through Apple, certain data may be securely stored within your private Apple iCloud account to allow cross-device access. We do not maintain a centralized database for storing personal user data.

In limited cases, temporary non-identifiable technical data may be processed on secure servers to support specific features such as AI food scanning and app performance. This data is processed only for the duration required to complete the operation and is not retained afterward.

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no digital system is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights
